Weekly Worship as Scattered Church

You can access our worship sheet below to guide your worship at home on Sunday mornings while we are still not all able to gather in our building.  This is one way we are still worshipping and staying connected whilst scattered.

We are meeting for Bible study/Home group on Tuesdays at 8pm via video call.  If you would like to join us get in touch via email waterloounitedfreechurch@gmail.com for details.

ABOUT US

We are a small congregation meeting weekly to worship on Sundays at 11am. We always have tea and coffee after the service, sometimes cake! We meet in the main hall (our main building is used by a Pentecostal church) - look out for our bright welcome sign.

Our worship is informal and we have a variety of different services during the month:

1st Sunday of the month - Communion.

3rd Sunday of the month - all age, family worship (informal, around tables, often craft or other activities.)

We have a weekly homegroup that meets on Tuesday evenings, for prayer and Bible study. The first Tuesday of the month, 10.30 - 12noon we hold a drop in at church for coffee, chat and activities with a short (optional) prayer time at 11.15am.  We're developing further activities mid week through our OPEN  programme.

Many of our congregation are involved locally in the In Another Place community and outreach project including singing in the Gospel Choir and working in the School Assembly Teams which takes primary schools on a journey through the Bible in a year using songs, drama, dressing up and puppets to bring the stories to life; there are always opportunities for getting involved in the many activities IAP offers.

Check out our news page for details of upcoming events and  view or download the weekly news sheet for up to date activities.

OPEN - Arts & Community Centre

Visit our News page for latest and up and coming events at OPEN Arts

We have fantastic spaces within our building for a host of community and arts type activities, and have hosted theatre, music events, rehearsal space and arts workshops.  Groups from the local community also use our venue for their activities.  We name these events under the title OPEN Arts & Community, to express something of what we are developing here. We have a heart to serve our community by making our home a place where people want to meet and enjoy gathering here. Go to our OPEN page to find out more!
