Welcome to Waterloo United Free Church

Baptist/ United Reformed Church

Join us on Sunday

We are a small congregation meeting weekly to worship on Sundays at 11am for an hour. We always have tea and coffee after the service. We meet in the main hall (our main building is used by a Pentecostal church) - look out for our bright welcome sign.

We have a weekly homegroup that meets on Tuesday evenings, and a monthly mid week meeting at the church for coffee, chat and opportunities for prayer.

Many of our congregation are involved locally in the In Another Place community and outreach project including singing in the Gospel Choir and working in the School Assembly Teams which takes primary schools on a journey through the Bible in a year using songs, drama, dressing up and puppets to bring the stories to life. Check out our news page for details of upcoming events and  view or download the weekly news sheet for up to date activities.

OPEN - Arts & Community initiative

Our church buildings are available to arts and community organistions for performances and activities. This is part of a feasibility study being undertaken by Waterloo Arts and Community Association (WACA). With a mission to enliven a venerable building and incite creativity and provide new opportunities, we have called this OPEN. Go to our OPEN page to find out more!
